...a minimization of the wings section pitching moment
(i.e.: a low camber airfoil), to achieve a lower trim
drag in cruise, for maximization of constructive and
functioning economy, can cause a wing with bad stall
characteristics, and make the wing not have enough lift
reserve if the Mach is too high and the wing is too
loaded... !
...if I were a air line pilot, I would learn all the
inns and outs of the plane model I were flying...!
...it is one thing for an airfoil, wing and airplane to
comply, with the 1.5 g pull-up requirement set forth by
the FAR...it is another thing, what really happens to
this plane in real conditions and flight...!
...I firmly believe because of "economy" and commercial
viability, that wing designs are stretched to the limit...!
...AND NOT BECAUSE THEY DO NOT COMPLY
WITH ANY KNOWN RULES, BUT BECAUSE THEY
DO NOT COMPLY WITH MY RULES...!
(1) All commercial aero-planes have to comply with my
minimum range of flight capability without engines...!
Otherwise they are deemed to be too dangerous for a human
to fly in them...!
