The primitive frog Ascaphus montanus can jump fine, but rather than a graceful landing this amphibian does a belly flop.

Frogs are often thought of as natural leapers, but new findings show primitive living frogs actually do belly flops.
This suggests frogs evolved jumping before they refined landing, researchers said.
...a lot of psychologists and myself included believe by general experience that to the contrary of this frog, human infants do not learn to walk unless taught...!
...but that animals are what they do generally, or never do it...!
